In 1971, we began providing MRO supply chain management services and solutions as Industrial Systems Associates (ISA). SDI acquired this U.S.-operating subsidiary in 1994 and subsequently changed its name to SDI, Inc. in 2004. SDI is credited as a pioneer in the integrated supply market. Over the years, the company developed various initiatives designed to eliminate paperwork, reduce and automate transactions, and reduce inventory. The first In-Plant Store^® program commenced operation in 1980 at Yale (now NACCO Materials Handling Group). NACCO remains a loyal customer of SDI today.

Today, we have customers in 17 states, serving more than 1,200 customer locations.

Over the years, we’ve developed a vast network of local, regional, and national suppliers. We leverage our existing relationships and contracts to help reduce your MRO supply costs. But, since we’re not a distributor — and we’re not tied to specific product lines — we’ll also work with your current suppliers.
